Flu Vaccinations

Practice Flu Vaccination Campaign 2024

We are pleased to update our patients on this year’s Flu Vaccination Campaign at the Practice!

This year, following the huge success of our Saturday walk-in clinics the last few years, we will be solely running walk-in clinics across our three branches. This means that this year if you are eligible for a flu vaccine, there is no need to book in for your flu vaccine, simply attend one of the below clinics! Our walk-in flu vaccination clinics this year are as follows:

  • Saturday 5th October @ Llanfyllin Medical Centre - 8am - 1pm
  • Tuesday 8th October @ Llanrhaeadr Branch Surgery - 2pm - 6pm
  • Wednesday 9th October @ Four Crosses Branch Surgery - 2pm - 7pm
  • Wednesday 16th October @ Llanfyllin Medical Centre - 2pm - 7pm
Eligible children (those born between 01/09/2020 - 31/08/2022), who are unable to attend our planned nasal flu clinics are encouraged to attend any of our upcoming walk-in clinics. Primary school children will be vaccinated in school as normal and will be contacted by the school or school nurse.

We are also very pleased to let our patients know that this year the practice, supported by Powys Teaching Health Board, will be administering COVID-19 booster vaccinations to all of our eligible patients as we did last year. This year we will be running clinics across all three of our sites. For further information, please visit Practice Updates - Llanfyllin Medical Centre (llanfyllingp.co.uk)

We will continue to keep you updated on this year's Flu Vaccination Campaign, please keep an eye on our website, our Facebook page and app. For further information on the flu vaccine, please visit Flu vaccine - NHS (www.nhs.uk)
