My Health Online Information

About My Health Online

My Health Online allows you to book GP appointments and request repeat prescriptions online using your mobile, tablet or computer. It means that you don't have to wait on the phone to your GP practice to make the requests - you can do it online at a time that suits you.

Some GP practices offer extra services through My Health Online, like viewing your medications and allergies, or seeing your GP record in more detail, which could include patient immunisations.

The services available to you will depend on what's offered by your GP practice. Call them to find out what they offer (find your GP practice phone number on NHS 111 Wales).

How to access My Health Online

  1. Fill in a My Health Online request form and give it to your GP practice. If you prefer, you can ask your practice for the request form.
  2. Provide ID to your GP practice alongside the request form so that they can confirm your identity. This is to ensure that your information remains secure. The types of ID you can supply are listed on the request form.
  3. Once your identity is confirmed, your GP practice will send you a registration letter. This letter will tell you which My Health Online service they are using (Emis or Cegedim). The letter will also contain your registration details, so keep it safe.
  4. Create a My Health Online account: My Health Online (Cegedim)
